Brown College
Established in the mid 1940's, Brown is a for-profit school located in Mendota Heights and Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. The institution is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. Brown is an adaptive college, illustrated by its recent development of the School of Healthcare. The institution seeks to educate its student body on those careers that have become more valuable.
Programs
Brown offers very specific and limited programs aimed to empower students with mastery levels of education. There are five schools available at the college they are School of Healthcare, School of Design, School of Criminal Justice, School of Broadcasting, School of Technology, and also offered is a Business Management of Degree. Within these branches 20 different programs are offered including: Health Information Technician, Medical Assistant, Business Management, Criminal Justice, Digital Photography, Game Design & Development, Information Technology, Interior Design, Network Development, Radio Broadcasting, Software Development Visual Communications - Graphic Design, and Visual Communications - Multimedia.
Brown is especially proud of its Broadcasting Degree Program. The campus has been developing innovative teaching opportunities and adapting to technological advancements, such as internet broadcasting. The Broadcasting program consists of the courses that its founders have been developing for over 40 years and also awarded them notoriety.
Mendota Heights, Minnesota
Minnesota is fairly sparse compared to other states and is about average in population size. Principal means of transportation are roadways and highways although railcars are also popular. Minnesota has extreme temperature with very cold winters and hot summers. Summer can reach high 90's accompanied by unwanted humidity and winters reaching in the low 30's.
