Selling Photography Online for a Living

Making a living working online may seem like an impossible dream to most people, but the truth is that it has never been easier to achieve this. One of the many opportunities provided by the Internet nowadays is selling photography online. Or, in other words, have people pay for the simple photos you take with your digital camera.

But why would anyone pay for such a thing? The truth is that there are thousands (maybe even millions) of people out there who need unique pictures for their personal use: bloggers, website builders, magazine writers, Realtor etc. And it's a better option for them to buy photos from amateur photographers like you and me, rather than having hired an expensive professional photographer.

I have said that it's totally possible to sell your photos online and make a living doing so, but I also have to say that this kind of thing is not easily achievable. If you only want to make an extra $300--$400 every month, you can easily treat this as a hobby, upload a couple dozen photos every couple of days and wait for the money to slowly, but surely, pile up.

But in order to earn four figures a month, you will have to treat this with a lot more seriousness. You must set up a schedule and force yourself to stick to it. No procrastination. Believe me, you won't shoot an extra fifty photos tomorrow, you have to do it today! And the best thing about selling photography online is that anyone can do it. No experience is required, only a digital camera and the will to succeed!
